When she is not cooking she can be found in her beloved garden or wrapped up with a good book (cooking murder mysteries are her favorite). She has hosted numerous cooking demonstrations, tastings and lectures and enjoys returning to speak at her alma mater where her mentors still aid her in business decisions. Her Personal and Private Chef services has opened up the door to her new catering business which she plans to expand in 2016. In addition, she is set to launch both her first cookbook and her own line of salad dressings in the near future.
Chef Renée has received calls from both FoodNetwork and ABC Casting after her show was nominated for a CATV (Community Access Television Award). The show, entitled, Simply Fresh Food with Chef Renée also is the name of her blog www.simplyfreshfoodwithchefrenee.com. She likes to remind her viewers, listeners and followers that while she is new to the world of social media, she is very excited about the possibilities this new phase offers and looks forward to the challenges.
